r Fry was a member of the Physical Education and Sports Sciences academic group from 2000 to 2005. She recently spent two years teaching at William Paterson University of New Jersey, USA. Prior to initially coming to NIE, she was with Charles Sturt University in Australia. She has extensive school physical education teaching experience in Australia and Canada. Her academic teaching areas are physical education pedagogy and curriculum and research methods, with developmental games and dance for children being her specialist curriculum areas. She has investigated children's perceptions of physical education and self-identity in Australia and the United States.
