r Tom Browne joined the PESS Academic Group in December 2003. Prior to this, he was with the Australian College of Physical  Education in Sydney. He has been involved in teaching at primary, secondary and tertiary levels; and coaching at local and international levels over many years. Included in his research are: authentic and alternative assessment method; affective outcomes in PE and sport games performance; assessments using technological support; coach and teacher education employing the sport education and games concept approaches.
